PLAY Expo: the Grads In Games Educational Zone returns for the north’s biggest video gaming expo

This year’s PLAY Expo event in Manchester saw over 20,000 gaming fanatics gather together for an action-packed weekend of Esports, Retro gaming, cosplaying and more!

For the second year in a row, we ran the Educational Zone, where we were joined by:

Activities included hands-on make-your-own steampunk goggles and micro-controllable ears and interactive 3D printing. Visitors also enjoyed playing indie games showcased by local colleges and universities and taking part in VR experiments put on by the University of Kent.

“We had so much fun,” says Danielle Simmons, Digital Eagle Leader.

“It was so inspiring to see the different variations of education available to children and students, from our code playgrounds, to creating those amazing glasses, to support from recruitment and college courses.”

Thanks to all our exhibitors who took part in the Educational Zone. Until next year PLAY Expo!
