Our client is an experienced independent development studio for digital entertainment software with more than 20 released games and a focus on mobile and PC games.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly experienced studio comprised of some great talent. Based in Munich, our client have released over 20 games for both mobile and PC, with the biggest success to date seeing more than 80 million downloads worldwide.

 

They’re now ramping up production for their most ambitious project yet, and are looking for a Junior Shader/Visual Effects Artist to define and develop shaders in Unity! You’ll create stellar visual effects and create in-engine animations to support these effects and help bring their games alive!

 

Who are we looking for:

  • Experience in programming shaders and image effects.
  • Familiarity with working in Unity 3D and with the Shuriken particle system.
  • You have experience in creating visual effects for game engines.
  • You also have a good understanding of how to integrate effects into game engines.
  • You have a good sense of visual presentation and timing.
  • You are able to create needed assets like textures, particle sprites and meshes using Photoshop, 3DS Max and similar tools.

 

The ideal candidate also has:

  • Experience with mobile games.
