Their newly released title Forza Horizon 3 has met huge critical acclaim, described to be “a masterclass in open-world racing and bigger and better than its excellent predecessor across the board. It looks fantastic, the car selection and customisation is second to none, and the size and variety of the sprawling Australian outback is magnificent.” (IGN)
“Search for a Star gives under-graduates the opportunity to stand out from their peers”
When they’re not busy making award-winning games, Playground support Grads In Games and our Search for a Star & Rising Star competitions. For the code competition, Playground’s Lead Engineer Will Stones took part in the judging panel on finals day, while Resource Manager Nick Duncombe gave students his insight into the industry as a mentor. For our new art competition, Art Director Ben Penrose attended the finals day as a judge, and joined Nick Duncombe networking with the finalists and other students.
Playground enjoy being a part of Grads In Games, as “Search for a Star gives under-graduates the opportunity to stand out from their peers and allows Playground Games to access the best student talent.”
We love having such a dedicated and hardworking studio involved with our competitions and Get In The Game tour.
And it looks like the excitement is not ending there for Playground, with a secret, unannounced project currently in the works!
