Junior 3D Artist

Calling aspiring Junior Artists!

Are you due to graduate in 2021 and are looking to break into the games industry? Or maybe you graduated last year and have a bit of industry experience to show off on your CV?

If the answer to either of those questions is “yes” then keep reading as I have just what you’re looking for!

I’m working with our Grads In Games partners, d3t, a fantastic studio based in the heart of Cheshire. As one of the UK’s leading work-for-hire studios, you will definitely have heard of some of the great titles they’ve worked on, including Mafia II, The Witcher 3, The Room, Burnout Paradise Remastered, SEGA Mega Drive Classics and many more!

As a Junior Artist, you will be working to create and integrate high-quality, game-ready assets on a wide variety of projects. You’ll be part of a large, multi-disciplinary team and will work alongside other artists, designers and programmers to create high-quality games on a variety of platforms.

To be considered for this awesome role, you’ll need:

  • A degree in a Game Art-related discipline, minimum predicted grade: 2.1
  • Experience with major 3D art software packages, including Maya, 3DS Max and Zbrush
  • A portfolio showcasing game-ready environment or character art

To add to all of this, you’ll be (eventually) based in a vibrant county which boasts the perfect mix of cosmopolitan and rural, with both Manchester and Liverpool located within a short travelling distance.

You’ll have plenty of time to explore with flexible working hours and a social company culture, and the competitive salary on offer will give you the means to relax and enjoy your new home.
