I’m currently working with the awesome Cheshire-based games studio d3t who are looking to add a Junior Technical Artist to their growing team.
Are you that rare breed of person who takes part in a left-brain, right-brain quiz and invariably achieves a near-perfect split between the two? Have you always loved creating 3D art, but felt an equally irresistible pull towards figuring out how it works?
You may be exactly the person I’ve been searching for!
As a Junior Technical Artist you’ll be working supporting the art team and helping to maintain and integrate assets and in-house toolsets for the studio’s plethora of projects.
d3t regularly works with major publishers such as Nintendo, Sony and SEGA, your work will mean that you can make your mark on some pretty hefty titles at a very early stage in your career!
To be considered for this role you’ll need…
- A good working knowledge of Maya and/or 3DS Max
- Some knowledge of Python
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- The confidence to work within a multidisciplinary art team
Bonus XP if you have…
- Experience with C++/C# programming
- Knowledge of game engine technology (UE4 and Unity)
The salary will be competitive and negotiable. During lock-down, the studio is happy to start someone remotely but following h end of lockdown this position will be based on site in the studio’s Runcorn offices. To that end only apply if you’re happy to relocate to the Runcorn area.
Sounds like the opportunity of a lifetime, right? Drop me an email at email@example.com with your CV and portfolio to apply, or give me a call on +44 (0)170983477.
