Although we no longer provide direct routes to internship placements, we do still have options available to help you out with the skills and visibility needed to improve your chances of finding internship opportunities in games.

Rising Star Gamedev Challenge

Rising Star

Grads In Games run the Rising Star challenge, which provides potential access to internship placements for college-level and undergraduate students. The game dev challenge is followed closely by many studios and covers programming, 3D art, animation, VFX and game design. It’s an excellent way to showcase your skills and abilities into a great portfolio piece that will get assessed by industry.

You can find out more about the challenges here. Registration is typically open from October to mid-December each year.
