Recognising our Grads In Games contributors as Game Dev Heroes!
Game Dev Heroes was held this week during Develop:Brighton, recognising the unsung heroes & role models of game development who inspire, support and encourage those around them. We’re thrilled to see that not only were several benefactors of Grads In Games in the shortlists, but Thad Frogley of Boss Alien won as the Game Dev Hero in the Management category – Well done Thad!
Thad’s an integral part of our Search For A Star team and has been heavily involved in the technical challenges with the initial C++ test, Stage 2 assessments and as a member of the final judging panel. We’ve known for a while how great it is to have Thad on your team, and it’s fantastic to see him getting wider recognition for his work.
Massive shout-out to Thad, and to all the excellent Game Dev Heroes shortlist who have been a part of Grads In Games over the last year!
Glenn Brace, nDreams – Huge amount of input & support in developing & assessing the art challenges.
Gemma King, Boss Alien – Massive help behind the scenes, coordinating with Boss Alien.
Tamsin O’Luanaigh, nDreams – Massive help behind the scenes as our liaison with nDreams.
Sean Oxspring, DS Dambuster – Speaker on the Get In The Game careers tour.
Greg Wisniewski, Sumo Digital – Speaker on the Get In The Game careers tour & at this year’s finals day conference.
