Grads in Games – Routes into Game Development

Games Careers Week is nearly here!


We are happy to announce that Grads in Games will be hosting a few talks around the theme of Alternate Routes into Game Development as part of Games Careers Week.

These talks will focus on individuals who found a unique path into the Game industry, highlighting the different ways someone can break in.

This is a virtual event and will be live-streamed on the 22nd of June on the Grads in Games Twitch Channel.

Our Talks

Kicking off at 11:00 we have Seyed Nasrollahi, the Founder of Unifiq Games who will be delivering a talk on what it takes to start your own gaming company.

At 12:00 will be having a panel discussion with Safe In Our World all about how to look after your mental health in the Games Industry featuring questions straight from the GiG community.

At 13:00 we will be joined by Bex Betton from Arts for Health & Wellbeing Bex will be talking about her unique journey into the games industry and what opportunities you should engage with as a student.

Finally at 14:00, Dan Dudley from the Grads in Games team will be delivering a talk on the different routes into the game industry and the various job roles you can find + Q&A!
