Boss Alien is an award-winning, global game development studio. Their games have held the number one slot in the free and top-grossing charts all over the world, with over 70 million players worldwide. In July 2012, they were acquired by NaturalMotion Games Ltd, who focus on high-end, free-to-play mobile games.

Based in Brighton and founded in 2011, Boss Alien make games for a variety of devices, including iOS, Android and Windows. Some of their big titles include free-to-play drag-racing games like CSR Racing, which was released in 2012 and reached number one in the Top Grossing and Top Free App Store charts across the world. Since then, they’ve released CSR Classics, another free-to-play drag-racing game which features classic race cars ranging from the 1950s to the 1980s.

As well as making top class games, Boss Alien play a large role in our Search For A Star and Rising Star competitions and our Get In The Game tour. Several of the Boss Alien gang join us on our tour, including Thomas Stockx, Will Tarratt, Tom Pickard, Dave Hart, Mark Gossage and Thad Frogley. Thad also helps to set the questions and judge the Search For A Star coding competition, from marking the round two game submissions, to interviewing the finalists on finals day.
