Hear directly from leading developers in the games industry! A full day packed with speakers from leading studios, talking to students about the work they do and what life at a games studio is really like. We’ve also got a panel featuring recent grads on how they got their first games job, plus a live masterclass session where you can create a perfect CV for applying to games industry roles.
Want to learn exactly what studios are looking for? Need a bit of insight on what roles are available or how your skills can fit in with studio hiring? Visit our games careers fair for the opportunity to chat with studios across the UK and Europe, plus our dedicated Career Connector matchup service that allows students & studios to set up private meetings with one-to-one career advice.
University Open Day
Not sure if going to uni can help you get a job in games? Or maybe you don’t know what kind of course would be best for you? Speak to dozens of universities with specialised games courses about what their courses can teach you, and what they can provide you with when starting a career in game development.
Grads In Games Awards 2021
Recognising the people, studios, and educators that have made a real impact in improving the links between the games industry and education, the GiG Awards celebrates the valuable work of those behind the scenes of games education and employability.
Search For A Star & d3t Rising Star 2021
Check out the future stars of the games industry as we announce the winners of this year’s student game dev challenges across programming, art, animation and VFX. After creating a games project and interviewing with leading game developers, just 10 fantastic students from our 1200 entrants will be taking the spotlight as this year’s category winners!
We still have opportunities for studios and universities to join our careers events
We have spaces available at our Career Connector event, where you can have private chat sessions with students matched direct to your own specified requirements (e.g. if you’re only looking for programmers graduating in 2021, then that’s the only people you’ll be meeting with!). You’ll also have a public room available for your studio for general chat with attendees.
We have spaces available at our Education Fair, where you can chat with college-level students about their games career options, plus talk about the courses and opportunities that your university can provide.
