Graduate C++ Programmer

I know your secret. You actually enjoyed lockdown a little bit, didn’t you?

I’m right, aren’t I? The freedom, the money saved, the sweet, sweet peace and quiet to allow you to focus. You were much more productive in the final months of your course than you ever dreamed you could be.

After a tumultuous time, you’ve now graduated and you’re on the hunt for a grad job, but one thing is holding you back: you know there are huge benefits to being in a studio, but you can’t help but think that the benefits of working from home outweigh them.

What you need is a pioneering studio with the means and the inclination to onboard, support and develop you remotely into the best Junior Programmer you can be. You’ve searched high and low, and you’re convinced that a studio like this doesn’t exist.

You’ll be thrilled to know that I have the answer to all your prayers! I’m recruiting for a forward-thinking work-for-hire studio working on their own brand-new IP. They’re based in Teesside but are on the hunt for a Graduate C++ Programmer to work with them on an initial 6-month contract. If you work hard and impress, there is a strong chance of transitioning to a perm position at the end of it.

To be considered, you’ll need:

  • Strong C++ skills
  • UE4 experience
  • A great portfolio including at least ONE C++ UE4 project
  • degree in a programming-related discipline (preferably 1st class but a high 2.1 will be considered)

The salary on offer is competitive and negotiable.

If the chance to work on the development of a cool, East-Asian style VR game from the comfort of your own home sounds good to you (and, let’s face it, you’d be mad if it didn’t!), then drop a CV and portfolio across to me at If you want to chat further about the role, give me a call on 01709834777.

Hurry! This one will go like a hot cake.
