Intern C++ Programmer

I’m on the hunt for a brilliant second-year student programmer to fill an exciting new 12-month internship position at a great studio based in Brighton! I think YOU might be just the person to fit the bill.

After recently announcing that they’re working on a brand new game with the Star Wars IP, NaturalMotion are looking for an enthusiastic, talented Intern to help them develop their latest release at their BossAlien studio in Brighton. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious graduate to get a published title on their CV and work for one of the biggest UK studios, with connections all across the world.

As well as getting to work on an amazing project, this experience will massively help you next year when you’re looking to nail down your graduate job! In fact, many of the interns we place go on to be offered grad jobs at the studio when they finish their degree. Internship experience is extremely rare, and setting yourself apart from other graduates now will be of enormous benefit later on!

The skills and XP you’ll need to succeed:

  • Strong C++ skills
  • A degree in a programming-related discipline, with a first-class predicted and great first-year grades
  • A great portfolio including C++ projects – preferably demonstrating some experience with game engine technology

The role isn’t remote, so relocation to Brighton for the year will be required, but you’ll jump at the chance when you see what the sunny seaside city has to offer! From beautiful beaches, great art galleries, museums, pubs, nightlife, to wonderful restaurants, you’ll have plenty to do during your time away from the studio.

This is a paid internship and the salary is competitive and above industry-standard! If you think this sounds amazing, and that you’re that special someone we’ve been looking for, please drop an email with your CV and portfolio attached.

Click below or email andy.driver@aswift.com to apply!
You’ll be offered a go at our industry-standard C++ test and given some more details about the role.

This vacancy is managed by our exclusive recruitment partner Aardvark Swift. You will be redirected to their site to apply.
