Intern Programmer

I’m working with d3t, a fantastic studio based in the heart of Cheshire. As one of the UK’s leading work-for-hire studios, you will definitely have heard of some of the great titles they’ve worked on, including Mafia II, The Witcher 3, The Room, Burnout Paradise Remastered, SEGA Mega Drive Classics, and many more!

I’m on the hunt for a brilliant second-year student programmer to fill an exciting new 12-month internship position, and I think YOU might be just the person to fit the bill!

An experience like this will massively help you next year when you’re looking to nail down your graduate job! In fact, many of the interns we place go on to be offered grad jobs at the studio when they finish their degree. Internship experience is extremely rare, and setting yourself apart from other graduates now will be of enormous benefit later!

To be considered, you’ll need the following skills and XP:

  • Fantastic C++ skills
  • A degree in a programming-related discipline, with a first-class predicted and great first-year grades
  • A fantastic portfolio of C++ projects – preferably demonstrating some experience with game engine technology

To add to all of this, you’ll be living in a vibrant county which boasts the perfect mix of cosmopolitan and rural, with both Manchester and Liverpool located within a short travelling distance.

You’ll have plenty of time to explore your new surroundings, with flexible working hours and a social company culture, and the competitive salary on offer will give you the means to relax and enjoy your new home.

This is a paid internship, and the salary is competitive and above industry-standard. If you think this sounds amazing (and you should), and that you’re that special someone we’ve been looking for, please drop me an email with your CV and portfolio attached!

This role is advertised on behalf of our recruitment partner, Aardvark Swift. Clicking on the apply button will redirect you to their website to apply.
