Codemasters are ready for a Junior Physics Programmer to join their industry leading team.
Based just outside of the UKs gaming hub, Leamington Spa. This could the perfect opportunity to join the growing game development community in the Midlands. By the way the studio provide a bus service from Leamington centre to the studio, so that’s the commute sorted!
This is your opportunity to work with industry veterans and Codemasters bespoke technology as well as Industry standards such as PhysX and Havok. You will using this bleeding edge technology to create the physics and collision systems for Codemasters and their Racing game portfolio.
So, to summarise you will spend your days working with different Internal teams ensuring that the game physics reflect the AAA quality that Codemasters and their community expect.
To be considered for this role all I need to know is:
- Have you got a Computer Science, Maths or Physics related Degree?
- Are you a skilled C++ programmer?
- Do you have a strong Maths and 3D Maths?
Can you demonstrate a knowledge of:
- Multi-threaded programming
- Linear algebra
- 3D transforms
Finally we would love to see:
- Evidence of your work with Sims, Vehicles & Animation
- Your Experience of working with Physics Engines
- A little bit of C# work too
