Ballistic Moon is a new independent game studio, based in the South East of England. They’re a growing, passionate team of highly experienced developers, focused on creating exceptional and innovative games for next generation platforms. They’re currently working with a AAA publisher in the early stages of a major new project, as well as their own IP, and require additional team members to help realise their shared ambition.
You will be working with an experience, close-knit team with the capacity to offer you side-by-side mentoring. The potential for growth and development at such an early stage of your career is unprecedented – why not jump at the chance?
You will be working on a mixture of gameplay programming and creating and integrating tools to aid the transition of their current project to next-gen.
The skills and XP you’ll need to succeed:
- Excellent understanding of software engineering and software design
- Excellent C++ skills
- Outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Clear communication and troubleshooting skills
- Capable of working well with other members of the development team and the founders
- Game engine experience
The salary on offer is competitive and negotiable. This role may begin remotely depending on your start date but when the pandemic is over, you will need to be prepared to relocate to Farnborough and work on-site.
As if all this good stuff wasn’t enough, you will be based within a commutable distance of London, with all the bars, restaurants, museums, nightlife and shopping opportunities the capital has to offer!
