Skills : Maya / 3ds Max, Python, game engines
Are you that rare breed of person who takes part in a left-brain, right-brain quiz and invariably achieves a near-perfect split between the two? Have you always loved creating 3D art, but felt an equally irresistible pull towards figuring out how it works?
You may be exactly the person I’ve been searching for! I’m currently working with an awesome Cheshire-based games studio who are looking to add a Junior Technical Artist to their rapidly expanding team.
You’ll be working supporting the art team and helping to maintain and integrate assets and in-house toolsets for the studio’s plethora of projects. Regularly working with major publishers such as Nintendo, Sony and SEGA will mean that you can make your mark on some MAJOR titles at a very early stage in your career.
To be considered for this career-changing role, you’ll need:
- A good working knowledge of Maya and/or 3DS Max
- Some knowledge of Python
- Excellent organisation and communication skills, and the confidence to work within a multidisciplinary art team
If you have experience with C++/C# programming and game engine technology (UE4 and Unity), you will be of particular interest to the team.
The salary is competitive and negotiable. During lock-down, the studio is happy to start someone remotely but after that it is an onsite position, so only apply if you’re happy to relocate to Runcorn.
Sounds like the role of a lifetime, right? Drop me an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your CV and portfolio to apply, or give me a call on 0170983477.
