Congratulations to Justyna Kwiatkowska from the University of Central Lancashire, our Games Programming winner of Sumo Digital Rising Star 2020!

Justyna topped the project stage with her excellent game development project, The Catgeon, earning her a place in the finals. Our assessors were really impressed by Justyna’s project, ranking it first overall, ahead of even the main Search For A Star projects!

Justyna discussed her technical skills, development knowledge and ambitions for her future games programming career, in interview with Hollie Brown, UI Programmer at Sumo Digital; Julian Adams, Technical Director at TT Odyssey; Tom Rab, Lead Programmer at Fortitude.

Our team of expert Games Programming judges said that Justyna has an excellent depth of technical knowledge, as well as a passionate and determined attitude toward game development.

Our judges also said that Justyna interviewed really well, showing great practical and team management skills in addition to her technical abilities. They agreed that she would make a fantastic addition to any team and would flourish in her internship.
