We’re looking for Get in the Game Ambassadors!

October 5, 2017October 5, 2017 Joey Relton 0

Want to beef up that CV? Looking to get your hands on some industry swag? Maybe meet and network with top UK studios at our legendary Search for a Star Showcase day?

Well, we’re looking for students like you to join our award-winning Grads in Games team as Ambassadors!

What is Get in the Game?

Every year the Grads in Games team travel across the country with our studio friends. We visiting universities like yours with the sole purpose of helping you get a job in the games industry when you graduate.

We deliver presentations and workshops based on feedback gathered from our studio graduate recruitment survey, so everything we talk about is fresh from the studios you’ll be applying to soon!

What is a Get in the Game Ambassador?

An Ambassador is our person on the inside; someone who will promote the tour as much as humanly possible. We want you to get creative and use the resources at your disposal to post about Get in the Game on social media, message boards, campus notice boards, anywhere you can think of – we want every student and lecturer to know about our tour!

We’ll equip you with everything you need, from fully written descriptions and emails to snazzy graphics and posters.

What’s in it for me?

More so than ever, studios are looking for extracurricular experience when graduates apply for jobs. A degree is not always enough, so you need to make sure you stand out by doing as much as possible!

This is a fantastic way to build up your CV and prove that you have the A-grade communication skills that studios want to see in a standout candidate.

That’s not all though. As a thank you from us, you’ll receive one of our exclusive industry goodie bags, filled to the brim with loot from our studio partners.

You’ll also receive an invite to our Search for a Star showcase event. You’ll gain access to a day full of presentations from industry representatives, and have plenty of time to network with a range of top studios who are looking to bring on great graduate talent.

Simply drop us an email at Laura@aswift.com and let us know you want to become a Get in the Game Ambassador – we’ll hook you up with everything you need!
