Grads in Games Awards Submissions Close on February 20th

February 11, 2020February 11, 2020 James Bowers 0

The Grads in Games Awards are back for 2020. Designed to recognise the work of universities, academics, students and studios in improving and encouraging graduate employment in the games industry; the Grads in Games Awards are the first of their kind.

Every year we come into contact with thousands of students who are looking to break into the sector. We wanted to do something to recognise those taking an active role in the development and the future of the industry.

From studios with market-leading graduate recruitment strategies, to educators going the extra mile to nurture creative flair at an early stage, we want to make sure these efforts do not go unnoticed.

The awards cover the following categories:

  • Academic Award
  • Educational Institution Award
  • Student Hero Award
  • Core Tech Programmer
  • Technical Artist
  • Student Game Award
  • Industry Collaboration
  • Graduate Employer Award
  • Graduate Impact Award

Visit the awards page here to submit your nominations!

Nominations will close at midnight on the February 20, 2020. Shortlists will be released in March and all finalists will be invited to attend the awards presentation to be held at GamesEd20 on April 16, 2020. GamesEd is produced by the British Games Institute. You can apply to attend the event here.
