Search For A Star & Sumo Digital Rising Star VFX and Animation submissions

Our 2017 Search For A Star & Sumo Digital Rising Star competition was our biggest yet and saw us expand our animation category and introduce a new VFX competition!

Our VFX students were asked to create a projectile ending in an aura – the details of how this would look were completely up to the student! Our animation students were given a rigged character and asked to show us their best idle animation switching into a powerful meele attack.

You can see the stunning pieces of work that our students submitted to round two below.
