Sumo Digital has had incredible growth over the last three years! We’ve delivered some fantastic AAA games and are currently working on a wide range of titles across our eight studios, both developing titles for major publishers and developing some of our own IP.

The biggest challenge we’ve had through this growth has been in recruiting the right talent, and this is where Grads in Games and the Search for a Star program has become an invaluable partner to us.

We all operate in an increasingly challenging candidate market where talent is difficult to come by. The awesome growth our industry has been experiencing means there just isn’t enough people for us to recruit at many levels within our studios. However, we know there is so much talent out there waiting to be found!

You’re all currently studying and looking to build careers in the industry and Grads in Games helps us get our studio and roles in front of you so you know which career opportunities we can offer you. We’ve had such fantastic success recruiting through this program in the past, with students developing their talent at Sumo to become some of our strongest game developers.

We’re working on a huge range of games across our eight studios; from mobile to multi-platform, our own IP to huge AAA franchises. We are always looking for problem-solving programmers to engineer our games, awesome artists to realise our projects, and game loving designers to develop experiences that our players will love.
