Welcome to Furious Bee as GiG partner studio!
We’re very happy to welcome back our founding partner Lizi Attwood and Furious Bee, joining GiG for the 2023/24 academic year!
As well as being a talented programmer and expert consultant in her field, Lizi plays a leading role in our Search For A Star & Rising Star code challenges, and has been a core part of the process since the very start. She’s integral to all stages of the programming challenges, from designing the code project, to judging the final round.
Her extensive knowledge of programming and the games industry makes her an invaluable partner to Grads in Games and Search For A Star. We’re grateful to the Furious Bee team for their enthusiasm and support for the competitions.
Furious Bee are passionate about making games, and helping others make them too.
Although the team is made up of just two people, Technical Director Lizi Attwood and Creative Director Ross Mansfield have a huge amount of industry experience between them, and have worked on top games titles including the upcoming “to a T”, F1 Clash, Her Story, Telling Lies and Motorsport Manager.
The Sheffield-based studio offer a range services for their clients, including:
- Code support – for all stages of a project, from planning and production to bug fixing and optimisation
- Art outsourcing, which provides clients with high quality models and textures for projects on any platform.
- Consultancy – expert advice and recommendations on all aspects of digital entertainment development
- Full project development, helping clients port existing projects to new platforms or to create an entirely new interactive experience.
