Marmalade

The Marmalade SDK enables developers to deploy code across multiple platforms and devices from a single code base in C++, Lua, HTML or Objective-C.

Marmalade gives you the full power of C++ – whether you’re coding for one platform or many. Perhaps even more importantly, Marmalade means you can concentrate on simply making your game the best it can be, rather than getting distracted by the mechanics of going cross-platform.

We’d like to thank Marmalade for working with us to make Search For A Star a success. As part of their involvement with the graduate programming competition, SDK Product Manager Ryan Gilmour, Developer Support Engineer Jamie Grossman and VP of Business Development Rob Barnes are kindly giving their time to act as judge and mentors respectively. As well as providing the Marmalade SDK framework for all entrants to use in the second stage of the competition, Marmalade are also generously providing extended SDK licenses to all finalists and full Indie licenses to the winners.
