Search For A Star Code Finalists Announced!
Today we’re happy to announce our Search For A Star & Sumo Digital Rising Star Code finalists!
This year was the biggest yet, with 405 programmers completing our first round C++ Hacker Rank test. Our fantastic round two judges have spent their time playing some amazing games and delving deep into our students’ code to ultimately choose five Search For A Star and five Rising Star students to move onto the Finals Day interviews.
There’s certainly a range of games in this year’s Search for a Star & Sumo Digital Rising Star Code finals. All students were given the same base framework game to work from, yet the results couldn’t be any more different! We’ve got everything from sheepherder games to gladiator style fighters and sci-fi arcade games!
We’re proud to present this year’s finalists along with their creations – all of which are free to download and play!
