Aston University
Aston University is a public research campus university situated at Gosta Green, in the city centre of Birmingham,England. Aston began as the Birmingham Municipal Technical School in 1895, evolving into the UK’s first elite College of Advanced Technology in 1956. Aston University received its Royal Charter from Queen Elizabeth II on 22 April 1966.
Over the last 20 years Aston University have consistently been ranked as a top university for graduate employability (80 in the World and 12th in the UK according QS Graduate Employability Rankings). Their research has a direct impact to society and 78% of it is rated world leading internationally excellent (REF 2014). They were also recently ranked the 33rd Most International University in the world and 10th in the UK (THE Most International Universities’ table), as well as 11th in UK for Student Experience (2016 Times/Sunday Times Good University Guide).
