Plymouth is a port city on the south coast of Devon, in South West England. You’ll find the impressive landscapes of the River Tamar and Cornwall to the west and rugged open spaces of Dartmoor National Park to the north.

Vibrant and friendly, with a strong reputation for innovation. Times Higher Education described Plymouth University as one of the newly-emerging ‘modern global elite’. They are one of the top 280 universities in the world*, and are 37th in those aged under 50**.

They are a global university, one that has 80 partnerships in more than 30 countries, including China, the United States and Sri Lanka. And with their extensive partner college network across the south and west of England, they have a total of 13,000 off-campus students enrolled on Plymouth degrees.

Plymouth University are the first post-1992 university to launch its own medical school. And they’re the first university in the world to be awarded the Social Enterprise Mark – the only independent accreditation to highlight organisations who place people and planet alongside profit.
