Feedback from the studios, universities & students we work with

Having done well in the competition seemed to lead very quickly to job offers, ultimately landing me my first job as a programmer in the industry.

Each round was useful preparation for interviews, covering both technical questions as well as a face-to-face panel interview with industry professionals.

I knew that the games industry is a hard place to get into, even with a degree, so my goal was to win to give me a better chance of landing that dream job.

The Get in the Game talks are excellent, just what the students need to hear.

Search For A Star is essential to gauge the quality of the courses for the industry. It’s a really valuable competition for everyone involved and it’s important to be involved in the process.

A CV and an interview can only reveal so much. I love Search For A Star because I can see an individual’s talent, passion and commitment first hand when looking for new programmers to join our team.

Gamer Camp students in Search For A Star have had good, positive experience, with the standard of testing and level of industry involvement making it a valuable process.

Grads In Games are our primary source of graduate hires. Thanks to their Search For A Star and Rising Star programs, we have access to some of the top graduates and internship candidates.
