After being massively impressed with the quality of the talent in this year’s competition, Aardvark Swift is delighted to announce that Microsoft have confirmed they’re on board as a partner for Search for a Star 2015. This is great news, it will be the fourth year now that Aardvark Swift and Microsoft have worked together to highlight the skills of programming students & pipeline talented graduates directly into the UK games industry. Microsoft will once again be joining us on our “Get in the Game” University careers talk tour, sponsoring the Search for a Star winner’s prizes and hosting the finals day at their Reading HQ. We’re not resting on our laurels – 2015 will see further expansion of the competition…keep your eyes out for more news as we release it!

“We’re happy to support Search for a Star – It’s a great competition. We want to see the best talent coming to Microsoft and working for Microsoft, but more importantly, even if they don’t want to work for us, we want to support them and help graduates be successful. This in turn helps the UK games industry be more successful”

Lee Stott, Technical Evangelist for Microsoft UK
